Aloe Vera For The New Year
Most of us are familiar with the benefits of Aloe Vera. We know that it can make our skin better because of its moisturizing properties. The sap when applied to the skin can alleviate dryness and restore its elasticity. It can heal burns and abrasions, soothes itches, eliminate acne and make the scalp healthier. It also makes the hair thicker and more luxuriant.
It is also a known fact that Aloe Vera has antioxidant properties which help cleanse the body’s systems and promote good health by strengthening the immune system. This can make us withstand the rigors of daily life like pollution and stress.
Aloe Vera has laxative properties, too. It eases bowel movement. Most of us are familiar with the benefits of Aloe Vera. There is still another that we should know about Aloe Vera.
It can actually be a New Year’s gift. Aloe Vera is a very good idea especially for those people who are in need of cheering up. Good health is a great gift and by giving Aloe Vera, you are actually giving them the chance to become healthier.
As a gift idea, give an Aloe Vera, the plant, and AloeRide®, the capsule. That is good health times two.
Aloe On My Head
The “burn plant” is another name used to refer to Aloe Vera. This may be because of its ability to soothe the skin when it is burned either by contact with a very hot object or when it is exposed to very hot temperature such as when an individual gets sunburnt.
Aloe Vera is said to be from Northern Africa but is now a common sight all over the world. It can be seen in a lot of households since it is considered a houseplant and at the same time a source or immediate remedy in cases of burn or a beauty enhancer due its beneficial effect if used on the scalp and the face.
In temperate countries, it is grown outside and thrives quite well in sandy and sunny places. In cooler places, it is usually placed in a pot or planted in areas where it can get more sunlight and is away from frost.
Aloe Vera is not only used as a home remedy for various ills but it is also a common ingredient in cosmetics and skin/ body care products. A shampoo and conditioner infused with Aloe Vera strengthens hair strands and moisturizes it leaving the hair thick and silky. The scalp can also benefit from it because of the moisturizing properties of the aloe plant. Its leaf can be rubbed on the scalp leaving the sap to enhance its condition thus preventing dandruff and promoting hair growth.
The same benefits can also be availed in a more convenient manner – with the use of AloeRide® capsules. The healing and moisturizing capacities are still there with less fuss. Just a capsule can make an individual healthy and beautiful as well.
What is an even better news is the fact that when an individual orders 5 boxes of the capsules, he gets one more box for free. It is health and beauty from a capsule – AloeRide® is the name.
Aloe Vera – My Grandma’s Legacy
The very first time I saw an Aloe Vera was in my Grandma’s kitchen. I was so young then. There were three pots with it placed on the window sill. It looked so pretty. I thought the pots were just placed there for decoration.
Then one time my sister and I were fooling around while pancakes. We wanted to flip it like what the chef did on TV. Well, we did it but it landed not on the griddle. Rather it went right on top of my hand. It was so hot and it hurt. I was crying while my sis shouted her lungs out calling for Grandma.
When she saw what happened, immediately broke off a leaf from one of the Aloe Vera and then she tore it in half and applied it on my burn. Immediately, it felt cool and the stinging feeling lessened. I was amazed. The burn did not leave a mark on my skin with the constant application of the sap from the Aloe Vera.
Grandma then explained to us the wonders of Aloe Vera – how it makes the skin smooth and silky and how it works as a moisturizer. That’s why when I started to have pimples when I was a teenager, I would gently rub the Aloe Vera leaf on my washed face. It worked. The pimples would begin to clear off and heal immediately
Now I am grown-up but I don’t have my own family. My sister has and we have continued that practice with Aloe Vera. I also have several pots on my kitchen and my nieces all know about its uses. We passed on to them what we learned from Grandma.
I have done even better than that because I have also discovered AloeRide® and how I can have the protection that Aloe Vera can offer me in just one capsule three times a day. My sister also has her own stash of AloeRide®.
